I'm not unhappy with this. Don't remember doing it though. It's not one of the drum experiments. Probably dates from about a year ago when I decided there was no point having an 8 track recording machine if I wasn't going to use it. On the whole I think it's better if there are different musicians playing different things as one person playing everything doesn't have the same effect - though Mike Oldfield might argue about that……. --Davy
It's taken me all my life to be a wanted man
But baby I know you want me when I see you
It's written there in your eyes and in your smiling face
It's so plain to see in every little thing you do
I got love for you, you got love for me
Let's put it altogether and let's see
How much love it takes to make this old world new
To make it break into a smile and stop feeling blue
It's taken me all my life to find out what I know
And suddenly I realize I know nothing at all
The learning I had from books was so much out of touch
Compared to what my heart knows when you call
You got love for me, I got love for you
Let's put it all together, see what we can do
How much love can it take to make the world seem bright?
To bring it out of darkness into light?
