I woke up early this morning
And walked out in the rain
Made my way down to the station
Now I'm waiting on a train.

I've left my troubles behind me,
I'm gonna start out again.
I'm just sittin' in the station,
Waiting on a train.

Well there's no mystery to it,
No finger pointing the blame
It's just a case of the restless blues,
I'm waiting on a train.

Some people born into pleasure,
Some people born into pain,
Some people born with the restless blues,
Waiting on a train.

03. Waiting On A Train
(Heikkilä-McGowan) Tuomas Laitila from tj band sings, Pera Sopenperä plays guitar and Hessu Taittonen blows sax on this very early fruit of Davy's and my co-operation. The original version was not so reggae-ish, but this was fun to make. --Jore This was one of the first lyrics I composed for Jore in 2003 Good to hear a full band Jamaican flavoured version. Grammatically it should of course be ‘Waiting FOR a Train’ - but do I give a damn? --Davy
