Well I sold my soul for money,
I sold my soul for fame,
When I became a Brand-X man,
A well-known household name
And I have lived the high life
Of an A-list superstar,
Never thought I’d rise so high
While I have fell so far

Gotta keep on movin’,
Keep my face in view.
Getting’ harder all the time
Now I’ve hit 42.
Rock ‘n’ roll was once my life,
I lived it every day
But now I’m just a hollow man
Shufflin’ on my way.

What a price to pay.

06. Hollow Man
(McGowan) Blues based story of how fading rock stars always have to be trying to keep their face in the public view. It wasn’t really written about anyone in particular - there seem to be a lot of them around, Another chance to play my steel guitar. Great lead guitar from Electric Davy.
--Davy
This runs like a moose! What a blues harp! And a slide on the other ear. Why this is not a national hymn of Scotland? Because the politicians don't know anything. Oh, now the guitar kicked in! Auts! --Jore
