Haluatko oppia hyvyyden taidon,
taidon josta hyötyä kaikille ois?
Haluatko istuttaa ihanan puun,
joka kasvaa jaksaa?

Tahtoisitko tanssia elämän tanssin,
tanssin, jossa höyhenenkeveä ois?
Tanssin, jossa leijua ilmassa vois?
Kuulisitko soiton
sinikellojen?

Haluatko huomenna kokea kaiken,
kaiken minkä ihminen kokea voi?
Haluatko ruokkia jokaisen suun?
Se voi kyllä maksaa.

Haluatko toimia pahuutta vastaan,
vastustella ahneutta leviävää?
Totutella toisinaan sanomaan ei.
Hymy ainoastaan
päivän pelastaa.

Kuka ymmärtää?
Kuka voi tietää?
Valitsemas tie
minne vie tää?

Haluatko huomenna kokea kaiken,
kaiken minkä ihminen kokea voi?
Haluatko ruokkia jokaisen suun?
Se voi kyllä maksaa.

Haluatko toimia pahuutta vastaan,
vastustella ahneutta leviävää?
Totutella toisinaan sanomaan ei.
Hymy ainoastaan
päivän pelastaa.

Translation:
Would you like to learn the skill of goodness,
The skill that would benefit everyone?
Do you want to plant a lovely tree
Which can grow up?

Do you want to dance the dance of life,
A dance, in which you are light as a feather?
A dance, which you could float in?
Would you hear the ring of the bluebells?

Would you like to experience tomorrow everything,
Everything that a human can experience?
Would you like to feed every mouth?
That can be expensive, though.

Do you want to operate against the evil,
To resist the greed that grows?
To get used to say sometimes: No.
Only a smile saves the day.

Who understands?
Who can know?
The road you choose
- Where does it lead?

Would you like to experience tomorrow everything,
Everything that a human could experience?
Would you like to feed every mouth?
That can be expensive, though.

Do you want to operate against the evil,
To resist the greed that grows?
To learn to say sometimes: No.
Only a smile saves the day.

(Heikkilä) The Tarja & the Finnish track of the album. This was supposed to to be Tarja's solo but you know my 'saving skills', I messed with the first verse after Tarja has already left and I tried to save what I could by singing something myself, so this became our duo. Simple sounding old orvot melody but pretty hard to sing! --Jore Bloody typical - Tarja gets one song on this CD and Jore's loses half of her singing! I am very familiar with his 'saving' skills..... My Finnish skills are so good that I understood what the title meant without needing the translation! I must admit it works well as a duo - maybe Jore & Tarja are the new Peters & Lee..... --Davy
