Marjorie skipped on down the lane,
Not quite mad, but not quite sane,
And when she came to the old school gate
She looked at her watch and said, “I'm late.”

Then she gave up her thoughts to time and tide,
And what's in the middle and what's outside
Then not quite mad, but not quite sane,
She turned and skipped back home again.

(Heikkilä - McGowan) Did I write this? I guess so. Well, it's all Jore's fault for asking me! I don't know why I've written so many childish poems – they just seen to flow out of me for some reason – and Jore always finds a nice melody for them. --Davy

This was so easy to come, easy to go track that I almost forgot it totally, even it was not many months old. Pretty little song, as Donovan would say. --Jore
