I once knew a boy
And his name was Johnny Seven
I asked him, "Where's the other six?
He said, "They've gone to Heaven."

"Well do you think you'll see them soon?"
I laughed, near fit to burst
He pulled a gun and shot me saying,
"You'll be seeing them first."

11. Johnny Seven
(Heikkilä - McGowan) When I was a young boy my mother used to take me to the barber's and above me, as I sat on the seat getting my hair cut, there was a Johnny Seven gun – an American toy that could change from a machine gun to a rocket launcher and all sorts of other things. I wanted it – badly – but I never did get it. It was far too expensive. I suppose that's at the root of the title of this poem. I love Jore's voice on my cynical little poems. --Davy

It was good to hear Johnny Seven's story behind this song. Somewhere from the deepness of my soul came this melody and I'm not sorry about it a bit. --Jore
