15. Guitar In The Sun
(McGowan)

Quite harmless pretty little song. Could you rob a bank when you listen this? I surely couldn't. --Jore

I was rather concerned when I read Jore's notes for this as they began 'Quite harmfull pretty little song' but I soon realized he meant 'harmless' - which just about sums it up. Brings back memories of Donovan's 'The Sun Is A Very Magic Fellow' - so maybe that was in the back of my mind. --Davy

Life's just a carousel
We're all here spinning round
We all know where we've been
But don't know where we're bound

So hey won't you play
Your guitar in the sun

The dream of reality
Shares wine with a spirit past
And as we make our way
Our first love becomes our last

The autumn of youth will fade
And trinkets will then hold us down
But on and before that day
We'll live our lives without a frown
