I moved towards morning
Like a traveller on an evening train.
Dim and distant it was,
Then the first few spots of rain
Hit the window pane
And my consciousness stirred.
My vision, semi-blurred,
Withdrew slowly from its dream,
And I awoke to a reality
Where nothing is what it seems.

11. Waking
(Heikkilä - McGowan) Not a key word poem, this is from more serious pile. Not so easy to compose but this is how it came out. I can live with it. -- Jore

I have no idea where Jore pulls these things from. I know nothing about this – but if he says I wrote it then I guess I must have and he's put a fine melody to it. –- Davy
