Mandy hated TV, the world web and football
She liked to spend her evenings playing on her Les Paul
She smoked high tar filled cigarettes while she washed up the dishes
And longed for a good fairy to come and promise her three wishes
'I'd turnaround my life at once,' she said with a soap sud sigh
'And play guitar in hard rock bands until the day I die.'

2. Mandy
(Heikkilä - McGowan) This is the first of the 'key word songs' in this box. As you most loyal fans already knows, it means that I send maybe 8 random words regarding whatever comes first to my mind, then Davy makes a poem using all of those words and then I make a melody for it. I'll never stop wondering how he can do it, usually within 3 minutes. The only bad thing is that it's always me who sings these songs as I make the melodies - but the world is a tough place, isn't it.

This track is pretty heavy for me, I'd say. But now I have an electric guitar and iMac loves to play drums. This one Davy have totally lost, since he wrote it back in 2011. -- Jore

As usual, I know nothing at all about this poem – but that's not unusual. Pretty heavy stuff for a Finnish folkie! I think Jore sings it very well – and I certainly wouldn't sing it at all! --Davy
