...and then the rain came down. We ran for cover to the bus shelter with my coat above our heads, laughing all the while, and as we sat there her smile was like sunshine, glowing and warm. I found some imperials in my pocket and we shared those as plans for the future tumbled from our lips and took flight upon the breeze.

The rain didn't last long and soon the sun caught her hair in a golden loom and she became a Pre-Raphaelite goddess of the dawn - and I her willing slave. And then, the wonder, the mystery of seeing as one; of all our senses on the rack of love, as I held her in my arms, and she kissed me.

2. Pastoral
(McGowan) All I had was a bit of tune - nothing else - so I came up with the idea of just writing a little poem to talk over the top of the tune. Reminds me a bit of Van Morrison. It is what it is. --Davy
