Feast Of Stephen

Once there was partridge and pheasant and fish
And a boar's head all served up upon the same dish
There was bread and potatoes and carrots and peas
And a hogshead of whisky being chilled in the breeze

Ah! Now that was feast, but then those were the days
Before microwave dinners and meals cooked by x-rays
Throw a log on the fire, better make sure it's hot
And we'll cook up some beans in an old copper pot
