I don’t like cats - I never did
Since I was knee high to a kid
In fact, as far as I can see
They look downright evil to me

I don’t like cats - I’ll tell you true
I sneak up on them and shout ‘BOO!’
Their arrogance is plain to see
And so’s the fact they don’t like me

I don’t like cats - I’ll tell you why
They may not talk, but still they lie
They lie with eyes that show distain
Saying ‘We’ll be the master race again’

I don’t like cats - they creep at night
And kill things before morning light
And then they lift the cat flap lid
And show their masters what they did

9. Cats
(Heikkilä - McGowan) Our friend Cindy in New Jersey will be mad for us, but I have to confess that I somewhat agree with Davy. I wanted to make this a little bluesy. --Jore

Cats will rule the world someday - and the way they look at you it looks like they ruled it already in the dim, distant past. Great tune for my poem from bluesman Old Blind Jore --Davy
