Eeva, lääkehoidossa
onko lepositeet liian tiukalla?
Eeva, laula niinkuin mies:
Huomenna on jälleen pouta!

Eeva, suukapulasi sun
voin koittaa poistaa jos vain onnistun,
voit jälleen laulaa, laulaa niinkuin mies:
Huomenna on jälleen pouta!

Usko, Usko mennyt on,
Usko mennyt varmaan tupakille on,
mut' Toivo jää, niin, Toivo vielä jää,
Toivo keittää meille kahvit

translation:

Eve, on medical cure
Is your sleep bonds too tight?
Eve, sing like a man:
Tomorrow will be sunny!

Eve, I will try to remove
Your gag if I only can
So you can sing again like a man:
Tomorrow will be sunny!

Faith, Faith has gone.
Probably gone to smoke a cigarette.
But we still have Hope, yes, Hope will stay
Hope will make coffee for us.

(Eve speaks: Coffee? Great! No cream for Eve)

(Hope and Faith are Finnish male names...)

12. Eeva
(Heikkilä) Eve. My only explanation is that I needed all the minutes I could get to fill my side of the box... This is kind of sad story of Eeva, who has some kind of mental problems and she can sing like a man. But they all gets coffee at the end, so maybe this is not so sad song after all. -- Jore

Bizarre. I think Jore could fill a full CD with all the songs he has written about people who have mental problems. This is like a Pat Boone song from the 1950s recorded in a parallell universe where EVERYONE has mental problems. -- Davy
